Jackie received her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University and her Undergraduate degree in Psychology from Slippery Rock University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor who works great with kids and teens. She specializes in LGBTQ competencies and works with adults presenting with a variety of concerns.  Jackie utilizes a variety of techniques including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Person Centered Therapy (PCT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

 

Jackie’s experience includes working with individuals with a variety of different diagnoses and backgrounds. Most of her experience comes from working with children, teens and young adults. She has worked as a school-based counselor, an outpatient counselor as well as a direct support staff in group homes and a Therapeutic Support Staff (TSS) for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). She has also experience in working with individuals struggling with gender identity or gender dysphoria.
