Brittany Biddle, LPC

Brittany works from a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectal Behavioral Therapy (DBT) approach to therapy.  She works to challenge and reframe thinking patterns while to develop healthy coping strategies to counteract emotional distress that clients come in with.  She works collaboratively and will structure session with individuals, couples, and/or families, workings to outline strength-based goals, increasing awareness in her clients, and validate the strengths and abilities of her clients.

Brittany is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) trained to work with individuals, couples, and their families.  She sees clients for a variety of reasons which include, but are not limited to the following:  trauma related events, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, relationship conflict and communication struggles, family conflict and communication struggles, and major life transitions/stress.

 

Brittany's hope for work with her clients is that they leave feeling validated and feeling confident and secure in themselves and their progress. She works hands on with her clients and is active and engaged in therapy.  She works to help all of her clients to become the best version of themselves and conquer their goals.

Session are between 50-60 minutes.

Accepted insurances:   Highmark, UPMC, Aetna, United/Optum, Cigna, and State Medicaid (Select Counties).   Sliding scale or Private Pay Arrangements can be discussed as needed.
